Hi! I’m David Cohen and I’m the Editor here at ColoradoStartups.com. I started the blog in early 2006 based on my passions for web and software technology, Colorado, and early stage startups.

I love startups. I’m a very active startup advocate, advisor, board member, and technology investor.

I’m also the founder and Executive Director of TechStars. I love being around technology startups and really enjoy helping innovative early stage technology companies succeed. The TechStars program combines my passions with capital, connections and real-world experience to provide a unique opportunity for early stage startups.

Previously, I was a founder of several software and web technology companies including Pinpoint Technologies (now ZOLL Data Systems) of Broomfield, Colorado. While at ZOLL Data Systems, I was also the CTO. The company was acquired by ZOLL Medical Corporation (NASDAQ: ZOLL) in 1999. You can read about it in No Vision, All Drive. I am also a member of the Board of Advisors of the Center of Innovation at Metropolitan State College of Denver. I was also the founder and CEO of earFeeder.com, which was acquired by SonicSwap.com in 2006.
